Winner! 4 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical!

Set in the 1860s, THE KING AND I is based on the true story of Anna Leonowens, a widowed schoolteacher from Wales who travels to Siam to teach the King’s many children. Her effect on the kingdom and the kingdom’s effect on her are the basis of this beautiful and classic musical.

Analisa Leaming and Jose Llana star in this magnificent new Broadway production, directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific).

Featuring a cast of more than 50, choreography based on the original by Jerome Robbins, and a score of treasured songs including “Getting to Know You,” “I Whistle a Happy Tune” and “Shall We Dance?” in their glorious, original orchestrations, Lincoln Center Theater’s new staging of THE KING AND I invites you to get to know this inspiring and enchanting musical classic.
